Following the submission of its unsolicited proposal to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) today, the NAIA Consortium, a group of the country’s seven biggest conglomerates vowed to transform the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) into a regional airport hub and to ensure that the NAIA would have the capacity to meet the continued growth in passenger traffic from the strong economies of the Philippines and the region.
